There was a Vampirella thread running at one of my favorite forums, and I got inspired to participate. Of course my tame skills don't hold a candle to the talented folks who were churning out stellar work left and right, but it's all about the journey, right?

I don't quite know why the idea popped into my head to have her playing a guitar, but it was seriously the first thing that came to mind. I ran a quick Google search to try to find some reference images, then did a quick, rough version in Photoshop just to help me sort my thoughts into a semi-focused layout, then executed the actual drawing on paper. I don't have my scanner up and running right now, so I had to take a digital picture of the page in order to get it into the computer, where I returned to Photoshop to do some cleanup. (But not too much, as you can see.) Colors were added, and Bob's your uncle.
