.Tango.
Surprise, surprise, another MVGC submission. Like usual, I waited until the night before the deadline to start my picture. I probably could have finished the whole thing in a night, but it would have meant neglecting my homework and I'm trying not to do that this semester. So I ended up having to turn in the plain, uncolored sketch. Well, here's the colored version. I don't know why it took me so long, especially considering the simplicity of my coloring job. I've been slacking off in the coloring department for quite awhile now... Wait... No, I've been slacking off in ALL aspects of drawing. Oh well. I think I was pretty pleased with this picture, although I'm never really satisfied with my own stuff.

Oh yeah... And when I started this picture my original intent was for it to be a light-hearted pose of Snake and Meryl dancing a tango. Like, I had a rose in Snake's teeth and everything. But then, as the drawing started taking shape, I decided to ditch the rose and go for more serious expressions.

Oh, and one more thing, since I'm already making this post longer. I know it's pretty lame of me to cop out on drawing the backgrounds. I do that a lot and I know it's basically a pretty amateurish thing to do... But I couldn't think of anything right off and I knew if I postponed the picture any longer I'd never get it done. So this is what you're stuck with.
