.Jay-Z - 01.
When I first finished this picture, I was really disappointed with it. I didn't feel like I really nailed Jay-Z's likeness very well, and I can certainly still find things to complain about it. But when I walked away for a couple hours and came back to look at it later, I found that I still liked it as a drawing. I think I just needed to stop thinking of it as my attempt to interpret a photograph, and start seeing it as its own unique piece.

So... I apologize for my drawing not really looking like the subject. I'll give it another shot sometime and maybe then I'll get it right.
