.The Hitgirl.
This is my newest character. I've written out some tentative story elements for her, but I'm not sure if they'll ever be used. She might end up being the subject of some sort of short online comic thing, if I ever find myself fired up to do it. But being the amateur that I am, I haven't attempted sequential artwork since Mrs. McCoy's seventh grade art class. But I guess if I continue drawing it's inevitable that I'll get around to doing sequentials eventually. It seems to be the natural progression. And since I can't quite seem to give up on drawing, then I guess I'll probably get there. It'll just take me a little longer than it takes the good people.

Anyway, about the picture. If I've succeeded, then it should look like I drew it on the back of a paper sack and then colored it with some cheap markers... Bah! Smoke and mirrors, I tell you! I really just drew the pencil sketch on plain white paper. The rest is Photoshop trickery. I was just feeling like I was in a creative rut and the cure was to try something new. I think it came out alright.
